SPS Hospitals (Satguru Partap Singh Hospital)

History & Introduction

SPS Hospitals was established in 2005 and inaugurated by former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. It was the first hospital in South East Asia to receive Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation within two years of opening. The hospital was envisioned to provide world-class, multispecialty healthcare services to the people of Punjab and has since maintained multiple accreditations including NABH and NABL.

Bed Capacity: Approximately 280 beds, including 100 intensive care beds.
Cost & Structure: The hospital spans 35,000 square feet across 9 levels. It features 7 modern operation theatres, a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab with Stent Boost Technology, 128-slice CT scanner, digital mammography, and advanced diagnostic imaging facilities such as 3D and 4D ultrasound. Telemedicine and tele-radiology systems are also in place, along with Wi-Fi and pneumatic tube sample transport.
