History & Introduction
The 30‑bed Government Hospital in Ludhiana North constituency was formally inaugurated on December 6, 2024 by Punjab’s Health Minister, Dr. Balbir Singh. Initially, the facility began operating with just 10 beds, with full expansion to 30 beds planned in later phases. The hospital aims to serve local residents with easily accessible government‑run medical services.
Infrastructure (Building & Facilities)
- Bed Capacity: Started as a 10‑bed facility, with infrastructure to support up to 30 beds
- Cost & Structure: The building was constructed at a cost of ₹4.25 crore. It offers general OPD, dental, mother & child, eye care services, basic laboratory testing, X‑ray facilities, and plans for dialysis services.

V Doctors & Staff

VI Pharmacy & Medicine Facility

- Staffed with at least one pharmacist, with supply generally consistent according to initial operational phase reports.
VII Ambulance & Emergency Services

- Ambulance facility announced by Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora, funded with ₹10 lakh and a new hi‑tech vehicle designated for Ludhiana West constituency but likely to assist in nearby facilities as well.
VIII Patient Services & Management
- The hospital provides local-level access to government medical care, reducing the need for travel to civil hospitals.
- A health camp held in April 2025 at this facility saw hundreds of beneficiaries and MLA Madan Lal Bagga pledged advancement toward expansion to 50 beds.
